Vegetative period: 62–65 days from transplanting
Average weight of the fruit: 8–12 kg, with a lot of fruits reaching 15–18 kg or more
Sugar content: 10–11%
A Crimson Sweet-type hybrid. The fruits are oval and transportable. The rind has an attractive green colour with deep green stripes. The flesh is rich red, crispy and juicy. The plants are quite vigorous but require frequent, optimal watering. 21–25 day seedlings should be planted under a plastic cover to ensure early yields. Vasco F1 has a very high yield potential. The fruits have a superb quality. Recommended spacing: 6,000–8,000 per hectare.
